Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as an anchor at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In later years, she was employed by WCBD as anchor for the morning show and as a crime reporter. The work of O'Dell in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the instances. The Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell with the Best Report of the year Award to all South Carolina media. Her work in Charleston has led to her serving as a co-anchor, reporter as well as NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV. Before becoming a part of Access Hollywood she was a co-anchor on weekdays as well as the NBC weekend co-anchor. Additionally, she is an anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's covered The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows to The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
