As we approach the spring of 2020 We will be uneasy about the direction of the Rotary member-to-member connection. It is a fact that the principle of "hands are in front of each other" is a crucial element of our routine, but it's clear that there is a growing optimism and the need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary, however, has evolved. While we are in the summer of 2021, there remains a continuing level of uncertainty about whether our social service includes the highly valued interpersonal connections that have been enjoyed by Rotary members of the past. While the traditional 'hands in faces will certainly continue to be a component of our routine it is apparent that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections occur. Rotary's face has changed. Rotary has evolved. We've improved the way we conduct online meetings for our business as well as reintroducing the social and service aspects with a secure face-to-face setting. These new options are paired with our most effective pre-pandemic strategies to create a new and promising prospects for Rotary. As proud as I am of the fact that Rotary continues to be a part of the Rotary Centre continues to support numerous community initiatives which benefit members of Rotary and help keep them safe as well, compliance and insurance is essential.
